A beautiful French Art Deco beaded evening bag, circa 1920–1925, featuring a geometric diamond motif in soft taupe, pearl grey, and smoke tones. The bag is fully hand-beaded with micro-glass seed beads, worked in a dense, shimmering panel that catches the light subtly and elegantly.

The original satin lining has partially worn away over time — very typical for bags of this period — and beneath it you can see the inner linen foundation layer, still intact. The metal kiss-lock frame shows age-appropriate patina and opens/closes securely.

The lower beaded fringe remains mostly present but does exhibit some age-related wear: several strands show bead loss or are partially missing. The bag still displays beautifully, and the imperfections feel consistent with a century of gentle use.
