These exceptional and incredibly rare 19th-century French eight-point star rosettes were originally crafted in gilt brass (ormolu style) as decorative mounts for fine furniture, mirrors, and architectural woodwork. Each star is beautifully faceted, with sharply defined rays and a central opening where the original screw or tack would have been placed.
They have now found a second life as exquisite ornaments — perfect for a Heritage Holiday tree, tied onto a gift, styled in a bowl, or displayed year-round as small celestial talismans.
Each star retains traces of original gilding, softened by age, with the warm brass tones and gentle wear that only true antique ormolu develops. Ribbon is included.

A rare, sculptural piece of French decorative hardware — perfect for collectors of French ormolu, celestial motifs, and historic Christmas décor.
